Welcome to Strategic Learning High School Math. Strategic Math is a class intended to support students who are concurrently in Algebra I. We follow the Algebra I curriculum and provide enhanced strategies for students to be successful. During the year, we will complete an interactive journal that will cover every Algebra I TEKS students are expected to master this year. 

 

In addition to Algebra I TEKS we will cover Test Taking Strategies, Organizational Skills,and Learning Processes. The course is intended to create strategic math learners from underprepared students. The basic understandings will stimulate students to think about their approach to math learning. This will include identifying errors, creating goals, and using data to establish relevance.
