Tryout information for the 21-22 team

Mandatory Tryout Clinic and Tryout Date- April 28-30 4:00-6:00/6:30.

Tryouts Saturday May 1st beginning at 9am West HS Gym

Legacy Eligibility Requirements:

• Candidates must be entering grades 9-12 for the 2021-2022 school year and be living in the Victoria West attendance area by school registration dates. (If currently waiting approval to transfer to West, making Legacy does NOT guaranty approval to the school.)

• Candidates must be currently passing all classes with a 70 or above. Proof of progress report and report card will be required.

• Candidates must have a conduct grade of all A’s and B’s.

• All assistant principals will be checking the candidates for the following… referrals to ISS for behavioral issues, suspension, excessive absences, and expulsion.

Legacy Skills Needed:​​ 

• Ability to perform memorized movement on count

• Ability to SMILE and perform!

• Double/Triple right pirouette, center leap, turning center, press leap, calypso, right and left split.

Tryouts will consist of a short jazz/kick combination and a short contemporary combination.
