Ready to let your hair down for some block party fun? The Junior Class Officers are hosting this fun event for all west students to relax after STAAR testing on Friday, May 12th, 2023, from 5-7pm. Incoming 9th graders and families are welcome as we show the community why West is Best. We will have games, free hamburgers & hotdogs, a dunk tank, water slide and so much more. All Clubs, Sports or other campus organizations are welcome to have a table set up to showcase their handwork this school year. Let's rally together to create a great moment for our school community. West's winning Powderpuff team is gearing up to face East! The game will take place on May 12th in Memorial Stadium at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased in room A130 between May 8th and May 12th.

On Monday, May 8, 2023, Victoria West High School will be implementing new traffic patterns for parents/guardians, student drivers, and bus transportation on campus to alleviate traffic congestion during drop-off times for the remainder of the school year. These changes are the result of a comprehensive study and analysis of traffic flow on our campus, and we believe they will improve safety, efficiency, and convenience for all our stakeholders. Following the first full week of traffic changes, parents/guardians will be sent a Thoughtexchange link to participate in to gather feedback as we continue to improve the traffic congestion during school drop-off.
