Indoor Guard

On March 12th both the Integrity Winter Guard and Indoor Percussion competed at the TCGC Contest held at Davenport High School.

The Indoor Percussion placed first overall in the Scholastic AA class which qualifies them for the Area contest to be held at Pasadena Memorial HS on April 2nd.  At area they will compete for one of 5 spots in the state championships that will be held on the campus of Texas A&M University.  The percussion swept first place in all categories and earned the second high score at the entire contest that day.

Later that day the Integrity Winter Guard competed in the Novice Class state championships.  Against a lot of tough competition in a brand-new guard circuit the integrity guard finished 7th in their division.  This year the guard has shown tremendous growth and improved skill which earned them two 3rd place finishes at different contests.  This is something the guard has never done in the past and a huge achievement for their hard work and dedication.  This year's winter guard consisted of 14 students, and of those 14 only 4 of them had ever picked up a flag/rifle before.
