The Band of Warriors competed at the USBands Yamah Cup Maching Competition at DW Rutledge Stadium in Converse. There were 21 bands competing in 4 different class sizes. The Band had a great run in the preliminary performance at 2 PM. They placed 4th in our class and earned a 10th place spot in the finals. At the 7:30 performance, our members poured all their work into their performance, placing 8th overall. The Band competed with 5A & 6A schools, showing their Warrior Spirit and Pride!
This week the Band of Warriors will perform at UIL Region on Saturday in Gregory-Portland at 6 PM. This begins their run toward UIL State Competition! Area is the following weekend in Weslaco.
