The Victoria ISD Board of Trustees recognized the top scholarship earners from Victoria East and West High Schools during the Thursday, May 21, 2026, regular monthly board meeting.
The students were previously recognized during the Victoria ISD Scholarship Ceremony held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, where graduating seniors from across the district were celebrated for earning scholarships from colleges, universities, organizations, foundations, and community partners.
Collectively, the Victoria ISD Class of 2026 has earned $8,898,064 in scholarships to support their post-secondary education journeys. Scholarship totals are expected to continue increasing as additional scholarship awards continue to be received by graduating seniors.
The following Victoria East High School seniors earned the top five scholarship totals at their campus:
Raul Gonzalez — $110,000
Adrianna Garcia — $118,000
Rojelio Zubieta — $120,000
Kason Kolle — $150,000
Izayah Taylor — $240,000
The following Victoria West High School seniors were recognized for earning the highest scholarship totals at their campus. Due to a six-way tie, seven students were recognized:
Noah Alvardo — $100,000
Derrick Carman — $100,000
Jayda Garza — $100,000
Brenden Guilbeaux — $100,000
Alee’a Waeckerlin — $100,000
Alejandra Montoya — $100,000
Mia Figueredo — $1,358,000
