Maintenance & Custodial Department
The Maintenance Department employs qualified custodians, carpenters, painters, plumbers, landscapers, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians and electricians. To further support the Maintenance Department, several individuals serve as licensed pest/weed control and environmental consultants.
Our Maintenance team is essential in keeping our school facilities in top condition. They handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and furniture disposition, ensuring that our buildings are safe and functional for students and staff.
Custodians play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment in our schools. Their work ensures that classrooms, restrooms, and common areas are sanitized, in working order, and welcoming.

Child Nutrition Department
The Child Nutrition team is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students. They help promote healthy eating habits and ensure that students receive the nourishment they need to succeed academically.
Child Nutrition has the following positions open:
High School Manager
Middle School Manager
Elementary Manager
Specialist
Warehouse worker/driver part-time
Substitutes
Transportation Department
Our Transportation staff ensures that students have safe and reliable transportation to and from school. Bus drivers and monitors are integral in maintaining punctuality and safety on our bus routes.

Upcoming Classified Job Fair
To facilitate the hiring process, VISD is hosting a Classified Job Fair at the Career & Technology Institute (CTI) Mall, located at 104 Profit Drive, Victoria, TX 77901. This event offers prospective employees the opportunity to learn more about available positions, meet department representatives, and apply on-site.

June 10: 10 AM to 12 PM
June 12: 5 to 7 PM
