Jay Perez has been named the new Head Baseball Coach for the 2024-25 school year for Victoria West High School. Coach Perez, who has been serving as the interim head baseball coach, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his new role.
"I am truly blessed and honored to be given the opportunity to serve as the head baseball coach,” said Perez. “I am excited to lead this talented group of young men and help them achieve their goals on and off the field.”
Coach Perez began his journey with Victoria West High School in 2014, where he quickly became a valued member of the athletic department. In January 2024, he was named the interim head baseball coach, stepping up from his previous position as the Varsity assistant baseball coach. Over the past 10 years, Coach Perez has demonstrated his commitment to the development and success of the VWHS baseball program.

"His leadership, passion, and experience have already significantly impacted our student-athletes, and we look forward to seeing the continued growth and achievements of our baseball program under his guidance."
