The Two-Way Dual Language Program will allow your child(ren) to immerse themselves in the beauty of two vibrant languages, and unlock a world of opportunities, connections, and cultural enrichment. This initiative is designed to gift students with proficiency in both English and Spanish, a valuable skill set in today's globalized world.
The program is available to all incoming Kindergarten students in 2024. Students will receive instruction in both English and Spanish throughout the day and students will be grouped in bilingual partnerships, enabling them to learn from each other's language strengths. These pairs will collaborate throughout the day, fostering skills like accountability, empathy, and language development, while also deepening their understanding of content lessons.
Learning two languages can enhance cognitive skills, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking. The cognitive and social benefits of biliteracy, throughout this experience, will spark a love for learning beyond the classroom.
